Photography is more than a hobby for me its a lifestyle. Since I have picked this up not a day has gone by that it has not influenced me in some way. While I can't say I have been the most diligent in far as shooting each and everyday goes... in-fact sometimes there are several days between shutter presses not a day has gone by when it has not been on my mind or that I have looked at the word around me and mentally taken a photograph or analyzed the lighting, vantage points or other aspects of the scene to think of what shot I might take if I were to be doing so. Maybe its just who I am.

Well I am trying to organize a DA meet-up... lets see how far this goes. It would be nice to meet some new people in the area that are interested in creative creations regardless of the medium. Once again I pack to head back to the Pacific Northwest... the Seahawks beat the Redskins and a Washington Team won... although it was quite interesting to be rooting for a washington team and cheering regardless of who scored... that was nice for a change. Competitiveness can get ugly sometimes.
Well gotta quit procrastinating and start packing...

Well I just got back from watching the fireworks in Baltimore. I did not take my camera this time because well for one thing I would end up getting the gazillion firework images that I will be then too lazy to look at later anyway and lugging the tripod was going to slow me down in the crowd. I instead took full advantage of my mobility and walked the entire pier... some thing that is a first for me even though I have been to Baltimore numerous times. I might have to visit it at night some other time and shoot some of the skyline from some cool locations I found.

Thanks for looking me up. Its always good to connect with old friends. Hope the portfolio project is going well. I know how difficult and also rewarding it can be to get a project like that off the ground and then finished. Things are going well on this end. I dont often get on DA anymore.
